ICON Advisers, Inc. (ICON) offers private account management services to individuals, private trusts, qualified retirement plans, foundations and endowments.

Since 1986, ICON (previously named Meridian Investment Management) has worked with financial professionals to deliver its unique money management system. ICON is also the advisor to the ICON funds, a sector mutual fund series consisting of 11 domestic funds, five international region funds and one short-term income fund.

ICON brings an analytical logic to the world of investing that aims to reduce subjective decision-making. It enables ICON to challenge conventional wisdom based on disciplined, objective, non-emotional methodology.

Led by co-founder and Chief Investment Officer Dr. Craig Callahan, ICON applies the Science of Investing to help identify industries that are underpriced. Dr. Callahan has created a valuation model that advanced the methodology originally developed by Benjamin Graham, often referred to as the "father of securities analysis," by adapting it to today's ever-changing market conditions.

ICON's combination of industry rotation and bottom-up valuation of equity investments distinguishes it from other investment managers.

ICON believes that while certain industries lead the market — typically for periods of one to two years — they are then displaced by other industries.

Through ICON's valuation model, ICON seeks to identify those industries that are poised to become market leaders. These leaders are usually underpriced relative to their real value because the marketplace has not yet recognized their true potential.

The ICON valuation model considers more than 1,700 domestic and over 800 international stocks to determine which market sectors are undervalued. ICON then develops portfolio allocations that focus on the undervalued sectors. The investment decisions are implemented through the ICON funds.
