Melissa earned an MBA in Global Business from The University of Houston and a BS from The Pennsylvania State University in International Business and French. In addition to her designation as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional – CFP® and as an Accredited Investment Fiduciary – AIF® she holds FINRA Series 6, 7, 63 and 65 securities registrations through Lincoln Investment and has life and health insurance licenses in Texas. She has successfully completed several educational and community programs, including the Certified Financial Planning Certificate Program at Rice University, the Leadership Excellence for Non-Profits Program at Rice University and the Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce Leadership Program. She is currently on the Board of Directors of the Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce and in the past has served as a board member and volunteer with The City of Sugar Land, Keep Sugar Land Beautiful, Keep Texas Beautiful and Fort Bend Master Swimming among others.
